Excellent story and fair to both sides of the divide. The issue is under-reported, but complicated.

One of the premises of those who oppose military recruitment almost imply that the military as a whole entitity is an evil institution. They only take orders ultimately from a commander-in-chief who should be serving the interests of the American people.

It’s one thing to oppose a war or military action, but thousands of men and women proudly wear the uniform.

I throughly enjoyed this report, Students look for a path to a better place and JROTC offers it. The position that JROTC takes the poor and disadvantaged to support a tryannical movement to wage war so the entitled won’t have too is silly at best.
I liked hearing from the students. Youth is a wonderful thing. They see what they can become through which the program provides. The Americans I look up to the most are those that give the most and that is our service members.

I hope and believe that this video has thought many people what JROTC program is really about. As a formal JROTC cadet i enjoyed participating in this video and informing people that JROTC is not a recurting class. JROTC offers you many oppurtonities to become a better speaker or to make friends. SGT Adams will always help out any cadet whether its a school problem or a personal problem. People must realize what JROTC is really about and this video showed it.
